Folsom South Canal was built more than 30 years ago to deliver water within Sacramento and San Joaquin counties. But, as Leonardo da Vinci reminds us: In time and with water, everything changes.

Today, the Folsom South Canal is embedded into the landscape of a growing area. Its waters flow through a commercial corridor where more than 100,000 people live and work.

Three years ago, the Folsom South Canal Partners group was formed to explore a vision that included the canal. The Partners, many of whom own property along the canal, want to include the canal as a new opportunity within the Highway 50 Corridor and the expanding City of Rancho Cordova. One that encourages recreation, improved mobility and innovative land use planning.

During the next four months, the Folsom South Canal Partners will be developing a plan that includes the canal. You are invited to participate in that process by attending meetings or providing input through this web site.
