More than 20 bike along canal

More than 20 cyclists participated in a bike ride along the Folsom South Canal on May 11 in conjunction with Bike Commute Month. Escorted by members of the Rancho Cordova Bike Patrol, the group cycled from the Aquatic Center to White Rock Road, stopping along the way for presentations on conceptual plans for the canal. Following the bike ride and during lunch, the group heard presenations from Rob Schroeder of the Bureau of Reclamation and Guy Kolling of Sacramento County Parks.
